The new nomination has been awarded since 2023 instead of the “Event” nomination and recognizes the personal contribution to the development of Russian literature. The winner of the nomination can be a prose writer, poet, literary critic, literary critic, film and theater director who has filmed and staged literary works, any public or cultural figure who, in the opinion of the jury and experts of the award, has had a noticeable impact on the literary life of Russia.
The "Event" nomination marked a significant, according to the jury and experts, event in the cultural life of the country (book festival, theatrical production, non-fiction, film adaptation).

LiteraTula

The LiteratureTula children's book festival in Tula was founded in 2016 by Irina Rocheva, creator of the independent children's bookstore Korney Ivanovich in Tula.

LiteraTula is a large three-day festival about contemporary children's and teenage literature, about those and with those who create, read and study it. It takes place in the very heart of the city - the Tula Kremlin on the second weekend of May. Book fair, public lectures, master classes, exhibitions, meetings with writers, illustrators, children's reading specialists, performances, book quests and much more

In 2017, the LiteraTula festival became the winner of the Yasnaya Polyana literary prize in the Event nomination.
